A significant portion of Dr. Panossian’s practice involves joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow in the treatment of end stage arthritis.
After earning his undergraduate degree at UCLA with Honors, Dr. Panossian graduated with his medical degree from the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. This was followed by an internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Panossian then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine/Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at USC University Hospital. During his vast training training, Dr. Panossian conducted extensive basic science and clinical research within orthopedics. And in that process, he has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and presented at multiple national meetings.
In order to stay up to date in his field, Dr. Panossian maintains active memberships with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Western Orthopedic Association, and the California Orthopedic Association.
He is board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
